After church, our rigshaw
driver was outside waiting for us with one of our translators (Rajialakshmi)
and Sailaja. They took us over to the
big CMR Mall to do some shopping! Apparently
getting some Indian clothing was a top priority so that we wouldn’t stand out
so much. The mall was huge and packed
with people! We were all thrilled to see
a KFC and a Pizza Hut inside! I was so grateful
for having Sailaja and Rajialakshmi there to help us. They knew where to go and helped pick out
some clothes for us; we even got a few saris!
I’m excited to wear them but we have to take them to a seamstress
first. The women’s clothing here is absolutely
beautiful! There are so many colors and
designs, and each one is different. I
must say, the shopping did its trick! I
felt better after getting some new clothes haha!
